I'm delighted to report that some of the Atlanta Branch were able to meet up in a city centre pub. Barney, Ianfaeclerie and myself got together over some (quite frankly lowpin') beer in a dodgy city centre brew-pub. The only choices were their dreadful own brews or the usual array of Bud, Bud Shight or Michelob, so we all did our manful best to put away copious amounts of their stuff, which was, only slightly, the lesser of two evils.
It was a lot of fun, and very nice to meet Ian. We'll be doing it again, although next time Ian, we'll be putting you on the train to Decatur to a decent pub! Hopefully, we'll be able to get Dixie along too!

Sorry not to be there. In fact there are a few other Hibbies in the area, including my brother-in-law and his son, who of course is an old mate of Barney's. Small world (but ah widnae want tae paint it)

Small world (but ah widnae want tae paint it) We will definitely be meeting up again Colin, and next time we'll make sure we can give you enough notice to get there! Probably the Brick Store for their delightful fish and chips!

Ah cannae believe ah wis the auldest.
That was the first time I was able to stagger home (hotel) from the pub since I lived in Stockeree (Stockbridge).
Sounds like we almost have enough for an over '40s 5-a-side team.
Excellent meeting the pair of yis.
