yes folks as the title says, the currants are there for the taking lets put this 'we could win 5 trophies' crap to bed. who do they think they are, christ is was only a year or two back that they were in crisis ( the glorious PLG era) and only a decade or two back since they were having bonfires in the stands to keep the 4000 crowd warm. mm yes fair enough good result against bremen, but they are acting a bit too big for thier boots now( usual business resumed etc etc) and i genuinely beleive we can do it.Celtic and Rangers are two cheeks of the same arse. lets show that traitor scumbag Smith and Fat super sally that the Hibees mean business incidentally and off topic, im not sure if the non scottish members are aware of this superb radio programme news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/scotland/tv_and_radio/7133168.stmi have followed these two religiously for the last 5 years, absolutely cracking radio show, good humour and a good way to keep your ear to the ground a la scottish football.Every saturday night and sunday night i catch up with thier shows via the net.It has really helped me keep in touch since moving across the pond.Tam Cowan used to have a tv show as well called offside it was pretty good but it got howked off the telly for some reason.

Aye, but it's not the 'kick about show' they have on the best bits. That sorry yam Gary Mackay is on there, but Torto and wee Mickey are regulars. Comes on every week day at 7pm Scottish time. Still marvel at the cross the wee man made for Keithy to score against the huns in the semi a few years back. More of the same on Sunday, Mon the Hibs

I have the video of 'Hibernian, the team that wouldn't die' Can't watch it without tears rolling down my face, still makes you proud we are still on the go, and doing well. How come all us Hibees here are so spread out. Can you imagine going for a couple of pints the night and talking Hibs, can't get better than that. the team that was, nah, never heard of that one. Maybe the same as what I'm talking about though

get a flight up to Vancouver mate, ill get the stellas in!!! basically the team that was was a bbc scotland series thats charted several teams in scottish history, Aberdeens euro run in the early 80's, raith rovers winning the SC, the huns 9 in a row, and of course we're forever blowing doubles a la albert kidd!! But they did one about Hands off Hibs, then the subsequent SKOL cup victory, great documentary.Good stuff from Tommy Mac, Weir, Evans,McLeod, the hero that is Budgie to name a few, i have it on DVD but its euro region.

Right, got you, aye, I've got that, but it was one of those dubious tapes 'a mate of mine' got from Ingliston Market Is it the one where Tony Higgins goes into the dressing rooms and interviews them all? Budgie was the dogs bollocks, and in that same semi, made a couple of match winning saves. I wish it was Sunday, I'm ready for the unwashed. Would like nothing better than to come up to your bit. One of these days we'll get together. Only met one boy on the nahibs forum, but since he came here, he's never posted again Was it something I said, on reflection, it probably was Mon the Hibs

Thats one thing i miss about living in europe-cheap as f**k airfares!! Yep budgie was/is a hero, he is the goalkeeping coach for Bahrian still i think. My old man lives in Newcastle and when i used to head down to waverly to catch the train i would always see budgie sitting there with his bag.He used to live in Blyth (of spartans fame). In the prog im talkin about he says he pulled up Hately in the tunnel and says...' oi Hately , come anywhere in my box, and ill break your back' Classic from the budgie, ahh the days when we had good goalies.
