Do any of the ATL based supporters know of any ATL bars/pubs that would likely show the St. Mirren fixture? Anyone feel like getting together for a pint to watch? I'm in ATL most weeks and work downtown b/n GA Pacific/SunTrust Towers.

I'm in the same situation bmhibby
In Atlanta and nowhere to watch the game.
I assume it's on HI - yes?
Not watch it on your computer?
What hotel are you in? I'm at the Hilton.

Barney: Thanks for the website. I don't think even HI is showing it either. Doesn't matter though, I have no internet access at the client I'm at other than my Treo. Can't imagine what milimeter-high Hibees playing football must be like.
Great to know another Fish fan (mate in your case) and Hibee supporter is lurking around these parts. You probably have seen him perform several times but I only have managed to see him once--back in ATL in the late 90's at the Variety Playhouse. Absolutely amazing. First CD I ever bought was "Misplaced Childhood," first import CD was "Vigil..." When I thought I was going to be at the Derby this weekend I emailed and asked him to play a gig after the game. He said he couldn't. You'll have to help me get him to play one at one of the Derbys next season.
Ianfaeclerrie: Pls see above regarding game. Generally, based upon being home in Denver, Fado has all the Setantas, Foxs, etc. but am not sure if places like Rose and Crown, other ATL Midtown/Buckhead pubs have such subscriptions. I'm at the Westin currently until tomorrow night and will be back next week. I have been pulling 15 hour days and just now getting to hotel. Sounds like you're a consultant too. It's hard to check this site during work hours but shoot me an email if you're around tomorrow or next week. Maybe we can meet up for pint/whisky or two. wroberts@kpmg.com.

HI are definitely not covering the game today, other than relaying the BBC radio commentary. Perhaps a mass meeting of the Atlanta (and Atlanta Transient!) Branch can be organised for next week?

Jesus Christ - what a team. What a good choice to not get together in Atlanta tonight, or even worse, in Paisley, to watch that pish. No wonder Scott Brown wants to leave. Bari last week, Love Street for a draw this week. I bet we win the Scottish Cup now.

Rest of Jackson...Brandon's a lovely place! I could give you a tour of MUCH WORSE parts of MS. At least liquor is cheaper there than the oppresive state of AL. Can't get Belhaven here either. New Orleans would be your best bet for Belhaven--can even find Belgians there on tap in some places. If you can find it there, pick up a 12-pack of "OLD CHUB" from Okar Blues Brewery (Colorado), it's a pretty good peaty brew, probably akin more to Belhaven 90. Thank goodness for ATL now that the voters finally voted for better beer. Orkney Skull-Splitters for the lot of us! Will be in Jackson early summer. I'll shoot you an email.

BUT you only get beer in Brandon cause there is no REAL bars. I have to go to Ridgeland (10 min drive across spillway) for a nip or 5. But hey am no walking hame from there so i ask my lovely wife to be the DD . See you in the summer
